Before you publish: this policy is a starting template written from how Snap & Swing currently works (built in Unity, monetized with Google AdMob, no user accounts). It isn't legal advice — please review it yourself (or with a lawyer) and make sure it matches exactly what each app collects before you link to it from the App Store or Google Play, and keep it updated as new games or services are added.
Who we are
Potty Games ("we," "us," "our") is an independent game studio. This policy covers all games we publish, including Snap & Swing, unless a specific game's store listing says otherwise.
Information we collect
We don't require accounts, logins, or any personal profile to play our games. The information below is collected automatically by the tools we use to run and monetize the games:
- Advertising identifiers (such as your device's Advertising ID) — collected via Google AdMob to show and measure ads.
- Basic device & diagnostic information (device model, OS version, crash logs, performance data) — used to keep the game stable and fix bugs.
- Approximate, non-precise location — may be inferred from your IP address by our advertising partner for general ad relevance; we do not collect precise GPS location.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information.
How we use information
- To display and measure the performance of in-game ads
- To diagnose crashes and improve game stability and performance
- To understand aggregate, anonymized usage trends (for example, how many people finish a level) — never to identify you individually
Third-party services
Our games use the following third-party services, which may process limited technical data as described above:
- Google AdMob — for advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Platform stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) — for distribution, purchases (if any), and crash reporting tools built into those platforms.
We do not sell your personal information. Any sharing that occurs is limited to what's needed for the services above to function (for example, sharing an advertising identifier with AdMob so it can serve an ad).
Children's privacy
Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@pottygames.net and we'll address it.
Your choices
- Limit ad tracking: you can reset or limit your device's advertising identifier in your phone's system settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
- Delete data: since we don't maintain user accounts or profiles, there's typically no personal profile to delete. If you have a specific concern, email us and we'll look into it.
Data retention & security
We retain diagnostic and advertising data only as long as needed for the purposes above, consistent with our service providers' retention practices. We rely on industry-standard practices (such as encrypted connections) from our providers to protect data in transit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our games or services change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our games after an update means you accept the revised policy.
